Accessibility

We aim to make The Prospect Building an accessible venue for everyone. If you have any questions regarding accessibility at our events or require access to facilities, please get in touch with doorrep@prospectbristol.com

PA tickets, where required, are available for customers who have purchased a valid ticket and meet the following criteria:

  • Receives middle or higher rate Disability Living Allowance for care and/or mobility
  • Receives Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Is registered D/deaf or blind
  • Holds an “Access Card” (also known as a CredAbility Card or Nimbus Card) – and includes +1 on the card
  • Receives Armed Forces Independence Payment or War Disablement Pension

Where none of the above apply, a specific medical letter by a valid professional will be accepted. The evidence should state additional needs and the support required.

Please note PA tickets must be approved in advance by contacting doorrep@prospectbristol.com

We have two accessible toilets. One by the main toilet block (this is reached by coming out of the doors from the Crane Room at the top of the bar and going directly in front of you out of the building; the toilet is on the right – the first one in the toilet block). The other is between the welfare point and medics, towards the exit from the courtyard

There is an accessible viewing platform which is available for you and one companion if you have been booked on. If you need a chair and there is not one, let any member of security know. There are is a lowered bar in the Crane Room (Room 2).

The outdoor Courtyard has gravelled sides, but the main walkway between the venue and the Courtyard is level, allowing access to the smoking area / food traders / outside bar.

When exiting the venue, you can leave via the main entrance by showing your access wristband.

We have medics on site at all events and we welcome any attendees who need to bring medication on site, however, please note that these may be checked by medics upon entry purely as a security measure. Please contact any member of security or venue management if you have any medical concerns while at the venue.

If you need a dog to assist you within the venue then please let us know prior to the event and we will arrange the correct assistance upon your arrival. In cases we may need proof that the dog is registered with or is a member of Assistance Dogs UK.

Please be aware that strobe lighting, fog and hazer machines can be used within events. If this poses an issue then please also let the venue staff know before the event.

Should you need any assistance whilst at the venue, please approach a member of the Event Management team.

If you would like a tour of the venue upon your arrival, please include your arrival time in your email requesting access.
